Coming Up: Member Photo Shoots

At this year’s Summit, we were delighted to receive a presentation from photographer Gale Zucker, who has worked with us before to produce a beautiful set of photographs for some of our HVTP member farms. Members can find Gale’s past work for us in the Resources area, and can access the full Dropbox to find photos of sheep breeds that can be used in promotional materials!

Gale has an impressive resume as a photographer, including The New York Times, Yankee, and Forbes—but her true love is yarn and fiber, and we’re honored to be on her client list. You may have seen Gale’s sheep-related photography work in books like Shear Spirit and Craft Activism, or in the pictures of some of your favorite patterns from Berroco, Modern Daily Knitting, and Zen Yarn Garden.

Gale will be setting up a photoshoot spot for us over two days in early August:

• August 3, 2023 in Mechanicville, NY at the Clean Fleece scouring facility.

• August 4, 2023 in the lower Hudson Valley (location TBA).

For this photoshoot, we invite members to reserve time to have their products and projects photographed. Upgrade the photography on your website or social media and share the work you’re doing in a more impactful way with the help of professionally edited, digital photos.
