The focus for this summit is to strengthen the Hudson Valley sustainable textile supply chain thru education, community, networking and collaborations.
We are happy to announce our agenda for the day.

Our keynote speaker: Stephany Wilkes author of ‘Raw Material: Working Wool in the West’

We will also have a panel discussion highlighting sustainability and community connections:
Heritage Breeds – ‘Save’em to Save’em’
Climate Beneficial Wool and the Carbon Farm Plan initiative with Laura Sansone, NY Textile Lab and Gibson Dumford, Watershed Ag Council
Working for Good:  Cecilia Tkaczyk, CeCe’s Wool

There will be a second panel focusing on emerging textile technologies and partnerships:
The Accelerator:  Laurie Villasuso, Orange Co. IDA
Micron testing:  Jared Nelson, SUNY New Paltz
Local Industrial Hemp & linen crop:  Jeff Silberman, SUNY FIT

Collaborations and Unique Textile Projects:
Locally sourced & produced yard goods:  Lilly Marsh, Shannon Eaton, Cassandra Saulter & Cara Leigh Wilson
Solar Grazing opportunities:  Caleb Scott, American Solar Grazers Association & Ashley Bridge, Fortunate Ewe Farm

Summit Registration Fee:  $30/person
